SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Salt Lake City field office is offering a reward up to $12,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of an unidentified man who allegedly assaulted a police officer.
During protests on May 30, 2020, in Salt Lake City, Utah, police say people in the crowd were throwing rocks — one of which struck a Salt Lake City police officer in the hand, causing severe injury.
Police are looking for a man described as a white male with shoulder-length brown hair, a brown beard, and a small tattoo on his wrist. He was wearing a dark baseball hat with a white rectangle on the front, reflective blue-green sunglasses, a blue tie-dye shirt, jeans, and a black and white bandana as a mask.
